Mood Booster

Two nights ago, before I did any calculations about cash, I ordered a few little things for The Bean. It made me really excited, so I thought you should see.

Here's where the wee Bean will sleep for a little bit. Look pretty primitive? Yup, good; it's easy to schlep and way cheaper than everything else there is to put a newborn in. Also, babies in baskets are so damn cute.

Despite Sarah's objections to this style of sling, I chose it because it has tons of room for size adjustment. Which for the baby who will be 5' by the time she's 3, is probably a good idea. Also I'm hoping that this mom's tiny body and nice (no gray!) hair comes with the sling.

And finally, but maybe the funnest of all: I ordered this exceptionally cute wall art, thanks to Auntie Brenna.
